Rain

My prairie garden received some refreshing and needed rain today.

By sundown, the clouds were clearing and a rainbow stretched across the eastern sky.

I am fortunate. According to U.S. Drought Monitor, the drought is less intense in this area than any other part of the state.

To the gardeners in the rest of the state and elsewhere in need of rain, I hope you get yours soon.

  1. It’s another wonderful rainy Spring day, so I’m taking time to look over the Blogs I follow. Wanted to see what you have been up to. Having a prairie garden sure comes in handy with your area has such a drought this year. I am sure you are the envy of many people in Texas! Here we have been getting lots of rain and still pretty cool temperatures. Today's high 47F, would be like Winter for you. I'll be checking in again soon. Jack
