Michael: Great Job!! Are you on the City of Dallas Waterwise tour? I have been on the tour for a number of years (not that last two) and have done some related things. Sally Sutton from Rohdes was just here helping me with some ideas on one area and suggested I check your blog. I am also in Plano and would be interested in exchanging ideas if you are open to that. It is really nice to find like minded folks trying to change hearts and minds through landscaping.
PNPOHAMAAT, the Dallas Waterwise Tour is not interested in my garden. I entered about 5 years ago and they came out for judging. I was really not quite finished at the time. I was still installing pathways in the backyard. I was deemed unworthy. I entered the last two years and they did not come out to see the garden. I probably will not bother this year. If your garden was on the tour and in Plano, then I probably saw it. I added a contact me feature in the right margin for you and others who have asked for a way to get in touch with me.
Ha, ha! Love it :-) At least it is not Opuntia icicleii anymore! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
