I'm just going through your posts and reading this April Fool's joke in November meant that I did NOT catch on that it was a joke until MUCH later in the post (basically, at the end HA). I felt so sad as I read the entry "Oh no! He wants to go back to having a lawn!?" Hahaha!! I keep thinking about giving up the blog because of time constraints and because I am getting redundant, but I will keep it and the garden around for a little longer.Michael - Plano Prairie Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10288991916201553454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7929448677986593408.post-75327234532104315982016-05-02T21:17:37.330-05:002016-05-02T21:17:37.330-05:00Unknown, I think I am too deep in this to stop the...Unknown, I think I am too deep in this to stop the prairie garden now. I do continue to look for ways to simplify the maintenance. Best wishes with your garden. It sounds like it is doing a great job at attracting the wildlife.Michael - Plano Prairie Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10288991916201553454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7929448677986593408.post-16895140022798782252016-04-15T19:26:44.074-05:002016-04-15T19:26:44.074-05:00Oh my gosh. The stress of being on the outs with neighbors and such. I had been multi-tasking and so I didn't notice that when I read this there was already a newer post that was obviously not in line with this one. Geez, there were so many clues--the pesticide things was weird but by the time I was reading that I was already planning my comment-to-be that I would make to push for a change of heart & barely read it. This is the first time I have commented on your blog and after feeling for a moment that Plano Prairie Garden was no more I guess I should probably take this opportunity to let you know just how much I enjoy your blog and that your garden is really truly very beautiful. Im trying so hard to get my native exerscape off the ground in a cliche patch outside lubbock texas, with good success (aside form some bermuda grass woes). But overall I love it. I go to aleep to the sound of my own hens and burrowing owls and wake up to a ladder back wood picker knocking and a lively thrasher pair that fight with their mockingbird neighbors on occasion. KEEP IT UP! ITS SOOO WORTH IT!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17894307873609142907noreply@blogger.com
