Christmas Snow and Native Plants

The Christmas snow is kind of old news by the end of the day on December 26. The roads were relatively clear this morning, so off to work I went. Before I left, I took a few quick photos of the snow on my native plants.

Predator tracks? Probably free roaming house cat, although we have had some coyotes spotted in the neighborhood. Unlike my neighbors, I am OK with coyotes roaming in the streets. I won't share my reasons.

  1. We haven't even had snow in Kansas yet. Man it's dry here. Nothing like a little white to show things off.

  2. as a general rule, cat tracks do not show claw marks since they retract.

  4. It always amazes me how much more snow the Dallas area gets than we do, only 90 miles south. Nice pics.

  8. I was out of town over Christmas so I missed the snow. Glad to see your nice pics :-) The snow is so pretty for a day or two (and I'm sorry I missed the garden photo ops in my garden), but I really can't say I'm sorry it's gone already. It sure was nice to get a little rain this week! Happy new gardening year!!
