Happy Thanksgiving 2012

Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. It feels more like spring outside today than autumn, but autumn it is and very dry it is. Here are a few pictures of the autumn/drought colors in my garden.

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you too...even drought-stressed, your garden is stunning...that Little Bluestem against the cactus is such a fabulous combination :-)

  3. I hope you had a good one Michael. The colors are strong this year, with the cool nights and warm days. I thiunk the little bluestem looks better than you let on and so does the bushy blue stem. I hope my pale leaf yucca ends up looking that good.

  4. Fall color is quickly fading in Denver: I recall many a drive at Thanksgiving through the panhandle. The Shumard and Texas oaks in Amarillo and Lubbock were magnificent this time of year--huge lollipops of russet and auburn. A wonderful time of year in Texas.
